ABOUT USInternational Marketing & Travel Concepts, Inc. (IMTC), was founded by Bram Majtlis in 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia as a destination management company specializing in travel to Europe. This concept allowed IMTC's clients to make all their transactions locally, rather than long-distance. In 1999, IMTC formed alliances with Pegasus Incoming, Austria's incoming tour operator, as well as with Pegasus BusinessKey to even better serve U.S. travelers to Central Europe and beyond. The company grew rapidly, and now encompasses five distinct divisions: Austrian Airlines Vacation Center; IMTC/Pegasus; Concerts-Austria USA; Gold Concepts Public Relations; and EdiTour. Currently, IMTC has operational offices in Vienna, Austria, Prague, Czech Republic, Budapest, Hungary, Istanbul, Turkey and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and has affiliated offices in Florence, Italy, Bucharest, Romania and Riga, Latvia. IMTC's dedicated professionals combine their many years of experience with flexibility and creativity. IMTC is known for its close personal attention to the individual requirements of all its clients, and its ability to find appropriate solutions in the areas of travel planning, international marketing and public relations.
Bram Majtlis, PresidentBram Majtlis, born and raised in The Netherlands, moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1991. His extensive professional experience in the European travel and hospitality industry includes various management positions with Holland America Line, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Martinair and Steigenberger Hotels. Based on his expertise, Majtlis founded IMTC in Atlanta in order to provide European travel planning services to USA travel businesses that otherwise would have to deal on their own with suppliers overseas. This concept proved quite successful, and in the past decade, Majtlis has restructured IMTC to include four different but related divisions, all established to facilitate efficient, creative and cost-effective arrangements for its clients.bmajtlis@imtc-travel.com
Louise Plonowski, Executive Vice PresidentLouise Plonowski joined IMTC in 1994 after more than 14 years with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Atlanta where she directed the marketing and public relations activities for the Southeastern region of the United States.
